Support for Anxiety, Overwhelm, Perfectionism, ADHD & Feeling Like You’re Carrying Too Much
You look like you’re holding it all together.
Maybe you’re the one everyone depends on — managing work, relationships, motherhood, responsibilities, schedules, expectations, and somehow still trying to take care of yourself too. You’re juggling a lot, doing your best to hold everything together, and somehow still feeling like it’s never enough.
Your mind feels busy all the time. You overthink, second-guess yourself, replay conversations, or feel stuck carrying the mental load of everything and everyone.
Or maybe you’ve just gotten so used to pushing through that you’re not even sure what you need anymore.
Therapy can be a space where you stop holding everything alone.
You Might Be Here Because…
Your mind never really slows down.
You feel overwhelmed by the mental load of everything.
You’re constantly anxious or overthinking.
You struggle to set boundaries without guilt.
You feel pressure to hold it all together.
You feel burnt out, exhausted, emotionally drained or resentful.
You wonder why things feel harder for you than they seem for others.
You suspect you may have ADHD — or already know you do — and feel frustrated by overwhelm, executive functioning struggles, emotional regulation, or constantly feeling behind.
You simply don’t feel like yourself lately.
If you’re nodding along reading this, therapy may be a helpful place to start.
How Therapy Can Help
Therapy for Anxiety, Overthinking & Feeling Constantly Overwhelmed
Many of the women we work with are used to pushing through.
You may be high-functioning, successful, and caring — but underneath it all, you feel anxious, overstimulated, exhausted, or stuck in a cycle of overthinking and self-pressure.
Sometimes anxiety looks like racing thoughts, trouble relaxing, or constantly worrying. Other times, it looks like irritability, perfectionism, people pleasing, difficulty slowing down, or feeling like your nervous system is always “on.”
Together, we can help you better understand what’s contributing to overwhelm, build healthier coping tools, quiet the constant mental noise, and feel more grounded in yourself.
Therapy That Goes Deeper Than Just Talking
EMDR Therapy for Women in Orange County
Sometimes insight alone isn’t enough.
That’s why we also offer EMDR therapy for women navigating anxiety, trauma, painful relationship experiences, perfectionism, childhood wounds, postpartum struggles, or experiences that still feel emotionally stuck.
EMDR can help process the deeper experiences that continue showing up in everyday life — even when you logically understand where they come from.

Orange County Therapy for Women: Empowering You
Compassionate. Supportive. Authentic.
I am passionate about helping women in therapy find their voice, unlock their confidence, and develop deeper relationships with themselves and others so that they can be fully seen and known.
As women we are taught to play it safe and to stay small. We are taught to wear the terms “selfless” and “nice” like a badge of honor. Most of my female clients begin therapy feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, and/or depressed as a result of this learned message. They are seeking better relationships with themselves and with their loved ones but they aren’t sure how to navigate these changes.
What can I expect from therapy?
Together in therapy, we will examine what you were taught about being a woman and uncover the woman that you would like to be. Therapy is a safe place for you to challenge the self-criticism and find ways to be more compassionate towards yourself. In addition, will explore ways to build your self-esteem, your confidence and your assertiveness.
During our work together we will focus on the patterns that leave you feeling stressed, overwhelmed and overworked. Together we will identify where boundary setting is difficult and how this is impacting your life.
After that, we will navigate how to set those difficult boundaries. We will carve out a life that leaves you feeling truly seen, known and loved.

At our Orange County therapy practice, we help women who are looking to better understand themselves, improve their relationships and enrich their lives. Our clients come to us for a variety of reasons. Therapy for Women with ADHD, Perfectionism & Burnout
Many women with ADHD go years without realizing why things feel harder for them than they seem for everyone else.
You may feel overwhelmed by daily tasks, struggle with emotional regulation, feel constantly behind, overcommit, forget things, procrastinate, or carry shame around feeling “too much” or “not enough.”
For others, perfectionism and people pleasing keep them stuck in cycles of burnout — constantly striving, over-functioning, and feeling like rest has to be earned.
We offer support for women navigating ADHD, overwhelm, burnout, perfectionism, and anxiety in Orange County while helping you build more self-understanding, compassion, and systems that actually work for your brain.

Questions about Insurance?
Using out of network benefits to help cover the cost of therapy can be complicated, frustrating and honestly quite discouraging-but it doesn’t have to be. To make the process seamless, we use Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on therapy—without the hassle of filing claims themselves.
How does it work?
-
Fill out the “Mentaya check your insurance benefits form” and we will confirm your out of network benefits for you.
-
Schedule your complimentary consultation with your preferred therapist. During the consultation call we will go over your benefits and an estimated cost of your reimbursement for our services.
Not sure who your preferred therapist is? No problem! Fill out the contact form and let us know a little bit about you and what you are looking for. From there, we’ll guide you in finding the therapist who’s the best fit for your needs.
-
That’s it! Begin therapy and after your session:
✔ We submit claims for you—you don’t have to do a thing.
✔ Mentaya handles the reimbursement process with your insurance.
✔ If your insurance offers out-of-network benefits, you’ll receive reimbursement directly.(Note: Mentaya charges a small fee for claim processing, handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies, but only if you receive reimbursement.) It's risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.
Providing you with a safe space to relax.
All your appointments will take place in our soothing office environment with fully private rooms, complimentary tea, water or coffee, and individualized care.

Therapy in San Clemente FAQ
-
Yes. We offer in-person therapy for women at our San Clemente office located at 324 Avenida de la Estrella, Unit B, San Clemente, CA 92672. We also offer telehealth sessions for clients throughout California.
-
Mostly the feeling that something is off — even if they can't quite name it. A lot of the women we work with look like they have it together from the outside but are quietly running on empty. They're high-achieving, they're the caretaker for everyone else, and they've lost track of themselves somewhere along the way. Sometimes it's anxiety that won't quiet down. Sometimes it's burnout, perfectionism, a relationship that feels hard, or the sense that things are heavier for them than they seem for everyone else. You don't need a dramatic reason to come to therapy. Feeling like you're not quite yourself is enough.
-
We are an out-of-network practice and do not bill insurance directly. However, we partner with Mentaya to help clients access their out-of-network benefits easily — no paperwork, no phone calls with insurance companies. Many clients receive significant reimbursement.
-
The first step is a free 15–20 minute consultation call. From there we'll match you with the therapist who feels like the best fit for what you're going through. You can book directly online or fill out our contact form and we'll guide you from there.
-
Anxiety and overthinking, perfectionism and people-pleasing, codependency and boundary struggles, burnout and emotional exhaustion, ADHD, life transitions, relationship issues, identity shifts, low self-worth, and the feeling that things are harder for you than they seem for everyone else. We also offer EMDR for women carrying trauma that hasn't fully healed.
-
It's not a completely different modality — but working with a therapist who specializes in women means you're working with someone who understands the specific pressures, conditioning, and experiences that shape women's mental health. The perfectionism, the people-pleasing, the invisible labor, the way anxiety shows up differently in women — we get it because we work with it every day.
-
No. Most of our clients don't come in with a diagnosis — they come in knowing something feels off and wanting support figuring it out. You don't need a label to deserve help.
-
That's more common than you'd think — and it usually comes down to fit, not therapy itself. The right therapist changes everything. That's exactly why we offer a free consultation, so you can get a feel for us before committing to anything. We'd rather help you find the right fit — even if that's not us — than have you give up on therapy altogether.
-
Yes. Virtual therapy is available for women anywhere in California. A lot of our clients prefer it — no commute, no childcare logistics, no getting out of the house. Same quality of care, from wherever you are.
