Therapy That Goes Deeper Than Just Talking
EMDR Therapy in Orange County
Sometimes insight alone isn’t enough.
That’s why we also offer EMDR therapy for clients in orange county navigating anxiety, trauma, painful relationship experiences, childhood wounds, or experiences that still feel emotionally stuck.
What is EMDR?
EMDR is a research-backed therapy that works with the brain's natural healing process to help you process traumatic or distressing experiences that haven't fully resolved on their own. Most clients find it goes deeper — and faster — than talk therapy alone.
EMDR can help process the deeper experiences that continue showing up in everyday life — even when you logically understand where they come from.

Questions about Insurance?
Using out of network benefits to help cover the cost of therapy can be complicated, frustrating and honestly quite discouraging-but it doesn’t have to be. To make the process seamless, we use Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on therapy—without the hassle of filing claims themselves.
How does it work?
-
Fill out the “Mentaya check your insurance benefits form” and we will confirm your out of network benefits for you.
-
Schedule your complimentary consultation with your preferred therapist. During the consultation call we will go over your benefits and an estimated cost of your reimbursement for our services.
Not sure who your preferred therapist is? No problem! Fill out the contact form and let us know a little bit about you and what you are looking for. From there, we’ll guide you in finding the therapist who’s the best fit for your needs.
-
That’s it! Begin therapy and after your session:
✔ We submit claims for you—you don’t have to do a thing.
✔ Mentaya handles the reimbursement process with your insurance.
✔ If your insurance offers out-of-network benefits, you’ll receive reimbursement directly.(Note: Mentaya charges a small fee for claim processing, handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies, but only if you receive reimbursement.) It's risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.
Our San Clemente Office
A space designed to help you feel at ease.
Every detail of our San Clemente office was chosen with intention — soft light, a couch you can actually sink into, corners that feel more like a friend's living room than a waiting room. Nothing here is stuffy or clinical, because the small stuff is what your nervous system notices first.
Our suites are fully private and quietly warm — the kind of space where you can exhale before you've said a single word. Pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea, settle in. This space was made to hold you — unhurried, completely at ease, exactly as you are.
In-person and online options.
We're located inside Flourish: The Bloom Room.
Address: 324 Avenida de la Estrella, Unit B, San Clemente, CA 92672.
Can't make it in person? We offer secure telehealth sessions throughout California.
How Do I Find a Good Therapist?
Honestly? It can feel like a lot. Every therapist's website starts to sound the same after a while, and it's hard to know who's actually going to get you.
Here's what we'd suggest: start with what you're actually going through — anxiety that won't quiet down, a relationship that feels stuck, a teenager who's struggling, or something from your past that still feels unresolved — and look for someone who specifically works with that, not just someone who lists it as one of twelve specialties.
Then pay attention to how you feel talking to them, even just on that first consultation call. Do you feel at ease? Rushed? Judged? That gut reaction usually tells you more than their credentials do about whether you'll actually open up once you're in the room.
And don't rule out virtual sessions if the right fit for you happens to work online — a strong connection with the right therapist matters a lot more than the format.
